Discover how modeling and valuing insurance companies differs substantially from other industries. Master the skills used to build forecasts, as well as how to use discounted cash flow techniques and multiples analysis.

Tackle the Complexities of Insurance

Insurance companies are very different to other businesses in the way they make money, the products they sell, the fact they are regulated, and how they report their financials. Therefore, the industry is often perceived as more complex and specialized than other sectors.

Our online insurance modeling course cuts through the complexity by providing comprehensive explanations supported by case study examples. You will learn:

  • How to model and value life insurance and P&C insurance companies, exploring some of the more complex areas such as reinsurance and insurance regulation.
  • The effects of insurance regulation when forecasting equity and dividends.
  • How to value an insurance company using both discounted cash flow techniques and multiples analysis.
