Case Study: Maximizing Commercial Banking Transactions at Top 4 Investment Bank

Does your team have the skills needed to spot unmissable deal opportunities?

A global investment and corporate bank wanted to maximize their transactions by training their commercial bankers how to identify business opportunities. Historically, financial statement analysis at the firm had focused on pure accounting, rather than the analysis tools needed to spot prospective deals.

Our Solution

We designed an in-depth financial analysis program focusing on SME clients of the firm, which covered cash management and trade finance products. Participants could use their analytical tools to identify the need for commercial banking products, having learned through two real-life case studies based on the bank’s systems. The program took place over four days and is supplemented with ongoing online learning.

The Result

Consequently, participants are applying their newly taught skills to prepare pitch meetings with clients and take a deeper dive into their financial analysis.
